Emma and the Easter Bunny

So we took Emma to the mall to meet the Easter bunny (and to shop, of course) and she was NOT IMPRESSED. She didn't cry but she sure didn't like being handed over to a large, strange, furry beast either. You can click on the picture to see the annoyed look on her face!

Luckily, she was much better by Easter Sunday when she was all dressed up and ready for pictures (she did sleep through her first Easter church services though. :)

Naked Baby

Emma is getting quite chunky....her rolls even have rolls! She loves to talk and tell us stories (especially at 4 in the morning) and she especially loves bathtime. But, she HATES being taken out of the bath. We try to let her splash and play in the tub for awhile, but it's never long enough. Here's some pictures from this week: Emma right after being taken out of the bathtub (so mad!), and here's Emma this morning hanging out in her diaper while we pick out her clothes for the day. She's doing some sort of Elvis impersonation in one. :)

I hate to admit it, but I think she's going to be a morning person (YIKES).

Drywall & Siding!

The house is really coming along. All rooms have drywall and the outside siding is almost finished. The brick was delivered yesterday and the crew is mudding and taping this week. We should be in soon! Yea!

Tornados and Snow!

Spring in Kansas! It's so much fun....two tornados touched down near Winfield earlier in the week and today we're expecting freezing rain and snow. Emma doesn't seem to mind though. Emma!

Emma is growing like crazy! She coos, smiles, and giggles a little (mostly in her sleep). She likes to hold her own bottle and even held her cousin Maddie's hand last weekend! She is too adorable and she is changing everyday. Here's some updated pictures from the past few weeks.

Under Construction

The house is officially under construction! As of Friday, the basement was framed and the first floor was almost framed. It's coming together and we can't wait to move in with little Emma!

Emma Nichole!

Emma Nichole DeLong is here! She was born two weeks early on January 29th at 3:28 p.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. 7.5 ounces and 18.5 inches long. She is already growing like crazy, smiling some and beginning to coo and make noises. Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks, some from the hospital and some from her first few days. She is very sweet and laid back like her dad except when she's hungry :)
