Fun Weekend!

Emma and Madison got to spend the weekend together! Lindsay, Brian and Madison stayed at our house this weekend and we had a blast! We watched them play, laugh and tear up the house. They even got Molly into the act. :)

We just wish they could play together more often....

Madison went to the zoo and brought home a pink monkey that she carried around the rest of the night.

The girls wanted to know what was going on outside...they even managed to get Molly to look.

Then it was time for a bath and jammies!

Settling into the New House!!!

The house is FINALLY done and we have been working on settling in for a few weeks now.

We closed on the 1st and then spent the next week and a half on vacation in Wyoming. It was great to see everyone but a little sad to leave our brand new house. It felt great to come home to it though!

Emma is six months old already...hard to believe! She is rolling around, laughing, playing with Molly and saying "da da da da." Here's some pictures of her playing in the living room the other night and of her bedroom. We're taking some six month pictures of her this weekend, so I'll post those soon!

Cousins!

Emma spent Easter weekend with her cousin Maddie and they had lots of fun. Maddie hammed it up for the cameras and tried so hard to crawl (she's almost got it!) while Emma was happy to just hang out in her new sunglasses and diaper!

Emma and the Easter Bunny

So we took Emma to the mall to meet the Easter bunny (and to shop, of course) and she was NOT IMPRESSED. She didn't cry but she sure didn't like being handed over to a large, strange, furry beast either. You can click on the picture to see the annoyed look on her face!

Luckily, she was much better by Easter Sunday when she was all dressed up and ready for pictures (she did sleep through her first Easter church services though. :)

Naked Baby

Emma is getting quite chunky....her rolls even have rolls! She loves to talk and tell us stories (especially at 4 in the morning) and she especially loves bathtime. But, she HATES being taken out of the bath. We try to let her splash and play in the tub for awhile, but it's never long enough. Here's some pictures from this week: Emma right after being taken out of the bathtub (so mad!), and here's Emma this morning hanging out in her diaper while we pick out her clothes for the day. She's doing some sort of Elvis impersonation in one. :)

I hate to admit it, but I think she's going to be a morning person (YIKES).

Drywall & Siding!

The house is really coming along. All rooms have drywall and the outside siding is almost finished. The brick was delivered yesterday and the crew is mudding and taping this week. We should be in soon! Yea!

Tornados and Snow!

Spring in Kansas! It's so much fun....two tornados touched down near Winfield earlier in the week and today we're expecting freezing rain and snow. Emma doesn't seem to mind though.
